I have a Kubota G5200 HST, and im wanting to know is it possible to add some type of Aux Hydraulic control so I could use a Hydraulic attachment? If so were would I start at? I have a small loader that im wanting to put on this mower as well.
Thanks for the help!!
This is the Kubota thats in my Sig. Im just trying to get a idea were I need to start at. Does the HST act as a pump, does it have some type of connection?
You will most likely need to add a belt driven pump from the engine and add a separate reservoir. The hydrostatic transmission is a pump per say...but you can not really use it to feed another system.
Does your tractor not have a hyd pump for the 3pt.
If you need an aux pump, the 14 HP engine can support a 7 GPM pump, at 3000 psi, at 2500 rpm. The displacement will be .6 cu in.
This would be sitting still like using a BH. If you are driving the tractor, that will take some of the HP away from the hyd pump. This pump could also power your loader.
My Power-Trac, uses a belt driven hyd pump for the steering and loader circuit. It only pumps about 3 GPM. Something like below should work for your situation.
Thanks J_J for the reply & info on the pump. No my G5200 did not come with a 3pt, and I really wish it did. The deck is also manual lift. The tranny is a hydro but im sure it isn't capable of running any attachments. I sure wish my Dad had bought the Hydro lift & 3pt for this tractor since it was a option 20 years ago. But I have metal & a Miller welder, im sure I can rig something up. I will be looking into that pump you recommended.
Thanks again for your help & info!
