Greetings All, I have an older G4200, 1982'ish, and I have had the front axle pivot freeze up on me. Yes I failed to grease the well hidden zerk. My bad. I know that I might just have to break down and pull the front end apart, but I was wondering if anyone has ever had this issue and have been able to free it up without removal?

I have tried WD-40, and a couple but it just won't penetrate to where it needs to go. I know I can get the axle to pivot using a pry par on each side to move it very slightly, but it takes quite a bit to get it to move. Would heating it up from underneath with a torch seem like a reasonable approach, or is another way besides ripping it all apart?

Any thoughts?

Thanks
