Kubota Financing...

Kubota Financing...They have a great deal going on and it appears to be the time to buy...But Spring sounds better to my pocket book. What do you folks think about the financing deal currently...will it change much by spring? I don't think the economy will allow it to change enough for me to worry about. I'm picking up a L4400. Thanks!

I used there 0% last day of:confused2: July- they extended to end of Sept- now it is the rest of the year. With the Prez we have in office I dont see things getting a lot better for a while so Kubota and others will have to keep the 0% around to sell them

It's a personal preference if you ask me.

My tractor is mostly for pleasure - in other words I don't own a working farm. Currently it is low to mid 80's during the day. We don't have any snow in the winter. I have a cab so it won't matter in mid summer when it is 100+ with humidity. My tractor will get used somewhat equally 12 months out of the year.

If you are somewhere that has snow - and the tractor will sit all winter - right now might not be the best time to buy - unless you intend to do snow removal - then the time is now.

Think it through. The answer will come. Good luck with your decision.

Don't buy until and unless you are ready. Period.

The financing isn't going to change, big time, between now and spring. The price will be the price, come spring. The zero thing as been around in some shape or form for the last 3 years, sometimes in lieu of $700 savings for cash, sometime not, sometimes 48 months, sometimes 60. So what? This is a 20K expenditure and the wee bit of wiggling Kubota does on the programs is not a big deal. The 20K purchase is the big deal.

If you need a tractor today, then buy. If you want/need to wait until spring, then wait until spring. That big old monthly payment book and the insurance costs will come soon enough.

In general I agree with the whole buy it when you need it, but look at it from all points one of which is that even if the financing doesn't change, the price of the tractor probably will and not less.

I don't obsess about money too much myself, within reason of course, and buy when conditions dictate I need another tractor.

I pretty well agree with the rest of the responses but.......as Triple R says, the price may change and if it does it won't be down. Also there can be periods when a dealer is more willing to cut more of their profit than at other times. Just another consideration. If sales ramp up in the spring or are going good now then pull the trigger when sales are at their lowest for maybe a few hundred extra dollars or implements in savings.

Add one more thing- TripR- is right.. Nothing goes down BUT the tractors he already has will not go up vs the new ones he gets in I bought my GST and a lower price than the DT due to the fact it was sitting there longer than the only DT he had. Nothing to do with 0% money, but worth shopping now and looking to see what they have. Besides I am reallllll good at spending someone else's money so BUY one before there all GONE

Maybe it's just me, but depending on the tractor, if you wait until spring, that means "your" tractor may sit out in the elements the next four to six months.

None of my stuff is treated like that.

you forget if your real nice- the wife lets you keep it in the garage:thumbsup: and that only cost me a few dollars to make sure her car is clean. After almost 20 yrs on marraige I guess she gave up on the garage for parking cars. By the way the shed in back is full too. My 610 Mule had to go somewhere

I should have been more clear as I meant if you don't buy now "your" tractor will sit out on the dealer's lot all winter before you pick it up and take it home in the spring.

Fortunately for me, my wife likes tractors too, so we built a new shed after our last purchase as we had stuff nosed in every available space. She wants "her" BX2660 covered too and now we can keep it closer to the house while I get to ride my Rhino down to "my" L5030 in the barn.

We have been happily married for 42 years, but if I tried to put her car out in the weather, I would probably wind up sleeping in it.:laughing:

Well- the wife thinks sometimes I am chatting to a bunch of crazy folks on the computorr- like the kids do on there dating sites:confused2: I tell her crazy yes but its a bunch of old tractor farts:thumbsup: Thats why I have the call name Agrantina-- A= Andy G= last name and Tina = wife is Tina adding the kids in the picture lets her know she is stuck with me:licking: - I simply tell her -- hey watch this new trick I learned on TBN and she runs to hide the check book

What? I use 2 of my 3 tractors all the time in the winter, especially when it snows. Only the little Bx1850 with the mid mount mower gets a break in the winter.
