Kubota FEL's

I have a B2410 and have been keeping my eye out for a FEL for this tractor.

I know that the factory FEL is the LA351. However, I ran across a potential opportunity for an LA301 FEL off of a B7100 model. In looking at Kubota's website, it appears that the only difference is the size of the bucket (the 301 obviously being a hair smaller than the 351, and I can live with that no problem). Part numbers for frame, cyliner, etc, etc, etc seemed to be exactly the same.

Can somebody confirm this for me? I'd love to jump on a good deal on the FEL if it will fit my tractor and operate without any problems.

Would the owner / seller of the L301 be willing to let you attach it to your b2410 if you hauled your tractor to his place? Sounds like if the part numbers match you shouldn't have a problem....bucket size wouldn't be the issue especially if its smaller that the la351. If you have a way to haul your tractor to where the L301 is at I would do that and mount the FEL and run through the controls before buying. Just my opinion, maybe someone else has better advice and more knowledge than I do in this area. Good Luck!:smurf:

Just comparing the two tractors, it seems unlikely to me that Kubota would have the same loader on a B7100 and a B2410. First of all, the B7100 went out of production in 1985; the B2410 wasn't even introduced until 15 years later, in 2000. Kubota may use many common parts across time and models, but there's no way they used the same loader assembly over that time span. Secondly, the B2410 is a much larger tractor than the B7100... 50% heavier, a foot longer, 10 inches taller and most particularly, 6 inches wider. If loaders had shoe sizes, the one on a B7100 would be size 7A and the one for the B2410 would be a 9C :laughing:

It would be a great deal if it fit, but I'm not optimistic that even the best backyard mechanic's adaptation would make it work on your B2410.
