Kubota engine hours

Just wonder what the average life expectancy is for the Kubota diesel engines on Kubota 2100 or 2400 for example if properly maintained...3000, 4000 hours ?

With normal maintainance, they will last a long time, but be prepared to rebuild or replace items like injectors, injector pump, glow plugs, water pumps, etc. I would guess you could get 4000 hours out of the engine, but tractor may not be worth it by then. Compacts are built like their larger brothers and sisters. They are also more expensive to repair. I just paid about $130.00 for ONE injector on my compact.
