Kubota engine D1105 D injection pump timing

Hi I bought a B6200D Kubota with a D1105 engine in it. I am having trouble getting the injection pump timed correct can’t get it running. I’m going to check the shims and start from nothing in it.

There was 2 under it when I bought it. But I don’t think the B6200D came with that motor and the fly wheel may be wrong.

I think it should fire at 20 degrees beforeTDC? I have a book coming Thursday that may help me.

Does the front pulley or balancer have 2 slash marks and a pointer.?
When turning in the CORRECT DIRECTION OF ROTATION (very important)
the 1st slash will be for injection pump timing (BTDC) and the next will be TDC.

Thanks I’ll check in the morning. I had the timing cover off but didn’t notice anything on the balancer. I have it at TDC and removed the head looks ok.

I will set everything in time again while the cover is off. I thought it was out of time but I read on here it takes so many revolutions for the timing marks to line up again.

I’ll do that first and put the cover back on then I’ll start with the injection pump to see where or when its sending fuel to 1 cylinder. I think they say around 20degrees before TDC.

I have no shims under it now so I’ll go from there
