Kubota e-pto?

To me, one of the attractive features of the new JD tractors is the economy pto to run the pto at 540 while the tractor runs at a lower rpm in order to save fuel. Does Kubota have a similar feature? If not, does anyone know if Kubota plans on offering a similar feature?

My B2320 does not have that feature.

My 1961 Ford 6000 has this option. You need a pretty high horsepower tractor to make this practical. Philip.

I'm thinking that you could run the 2X20 series at around 1300 with the PTO operating at 1000 to achieve the same thing..........

My B7510 has two speed PTO and if you select the high speed and run at 1500 you get around 540. I find it great for light work and really makes a difference in fuel consumption.

I've asked this before here, what if you use a high range pto setting, lower the rpm's and use a lower wattage pto generator (needing less hp) for emergency home power.....

Anybody here done that....??.....I was thinking it would be better fuel economy and quieter running.....

It would be better fuel economy and quieter running, but you would have far less horsepower input to the generator head resulting in less kw output. Depends on what your kw needs are. Philip.

My B2320 rated HP at the PTO is 17......so I'm guessing it would be cut in half at least......maybe 8.5 hp.....

The biggest problem with running at low rpm is the governor becomes unresponsive so as loads change your voltage will be all over the map.
