Kubota M5700 & ZD326
My ZD326S developed a rear crank shaft oil leak at 283 hrs. The dealer found a knock and subsequently the crank, holders and all bearings had to be changed due to spun bearings. During the 400 hr. inspection at another dealer the seal was found to be leaking again. Upon replacement it was found that the old style seal had been installed instead of the new and improved seal that had been out for two years. I was not a happy camper so I went back to the dealer that did the original work and talked to the owner. He heard my sad tale got up and went into the next office and cut me a check for the entire $500.00+ amount.....No questions asked. Is that customer service or what?
At 443 hrs. it developed a knock so I took it in where the mechanics found that the bearings had spun again. Now I'm really unhappy. 443 hrs. and the bearings have spun twice? e-mailed the Kubota district customer service and expressed my displeasure. Got a call a week later from a customer service tech who said "We'll get you a new engine". And that's exactly what happened. I picked it up yesterday! It doesn't appear that there are any switched parts. Everything is new! Now that in my opinion is customer service!

I got it new in July 2007. It makes mowing around 152 pecan trees a breeze.

Hey PG!

Sorry 'bout your troubles, it is frustrating when things break, especially after you already fixed them once, but it's good to hear the Kubota is taking proper care of your issue.

Thanks for sharing, you made me glad I bought my 'Bota!

Happy and safe tractoring,
Thomas

Kubota is deserving of a thumbs up, the person who really should be commended is the DEALER. Without the dealer stepping in and probably saying, "I know this person and the Service Department" confirmed the failure was not from abuse. Kubota would have put up a great big stone wall.

That appears to be a pretty factual statement. Do you know it for a fact or are you stating a theory as if it's fact?

I just picked up my new M126GX and I got the loader with it, It came with the 84 inch standard bucket I thought I didn't need the bigger 96 inch bucket till I got it home and started looking at it. I believe the upgraded price for the bigger bucket is around 1500.00, I called the dealer and told them I wanted the bigger bucket and asked for a price. The dealer called me back about an hour later and said they didn't have it there but had one at another store and would have it delivered to their store for me to pick up on Wednesday (today). And said NO CHARGE just come and swap it out, now that's customer service.

I ordered the block heater for my tier3 plus EGR tractor. The directions indicated to remove a threaded plug on the left side of the engine. One problem the EGR cooler was plumbed into that location. First glance did not reveal anything other than the freeze plugs. I called the dealer
They out their lead tech on the phone and he knew exactly where it went on the non egr tractors. I'm like nope does not work he walked out and looked at a m9540 and found my dilemma the cooler line. They called kubota usa and about 30 minutes later they told me there was a second plug hidden behind the water separator.

I was very happy with the quick turn around time.

Getting the plug out on the other hand huge PITA. It took hundreds of foot pounds of torque. Me jumping up and down on my breaker bar. I Would have had to remove the loader and right side support to use the impact.

Got the 96 on my M135GX. Since they use the same attachment I want to try that bucket on my L5740 in snow this winter - if it will lift it.

A bit MORE?
I bought my first tractor (Kubota BX2200 FEL MMM) about 10 years ago. Equally sized, powered and equipped JD was $3000 more and the NH was $2500 more. Maybe it was Barlows lower pricing but I've bought 14 more Kubotas from Barlows since then. At the time those were the brands selling here and is still mostly the brands selling here.
