Kubota Common Rail Engine Test Stand/Bench

Hello everyone, I have a bunch of kubota common rail engines ranging from the 1803CR to the V3800CR. I need a way to test run these engines before wasting time putting them into a machine just to find some issue. I understand I would need a custom wiring harness and the ECM, has anyone tried this and have some schematics or things you can tell me on how to go about doing this? Do I need a custom ECM? Or can I just use the ones I have, the engines ECM would be deleted to lessen the clutter on the stand so It will just need power to the other parts.

Hi Brandon! Testing those Kubota engines sounds like a great project. You can often use the existing ECMs, but you might need to reprogram them depending on your setup. For the custom wiring harness, check out online forums or groups dedicated to Kubota engines; they often share useful schematics. Good luck!

So how does he use the existing ECMs when he doesn't have the existing ECMs? I think that was his question.
