Kubota BX25 implements

I just ordered a BX25 from the local Kubota dealer and will be adding the following: Tiller, Box Scraper, Blade Scraper, Post-hole Digger, Grapple, Tooth-bar, and Thumb. The dealer is installing an aux 3-spool hyd valve to add Top & Tilt Cylinders to rear attachments. My former Kubota was an L275 with all of the above. I understand the BX will be a bit limited in pulling power, any suggestions/experience as to size, make, model, etc of the listed implements would be appreciated. The property I just purchased includes approx 1/2 acre of flat and fairly level good soil - no rocks. I will be cleaning up the yard, leveling, putting in water lines, flower beds, etc.

Does anyone on this forum have experience with the hyd auger attachments that can be mounted to either the Front-loader bucket or the Backhoe?

My dealer gave me several catalogs and told me to pick out what I wanted, there are too many choices.

Are you saying you are going to buy all those attachments to use on just 1/2 acre of land? Maybe I read that wrong.

I'd rent some of the things you won't use that often if you're only going to cover 1/2 acre.

The post hole digger is a good example. If you do get one, make sure it is made for this size tractor. Larger ones will work but you can't raise them up high enough to move around.

For the blade and box scraper I'd go 5' which will be wider than the tires.

For the tiller I don't have the experience to advise you myself but observe that 4' seems common on these smaller tractors.

Yes, all those for just the 1/2 acre. I致e never been a fan of renting, and by owning them they are available when I need them. Once this project is completed I will either sell or put the tractor and implements into a lease program.

I致e been reading through the catalogs, and see several of the scrapers and tillers come in 42" as well as 48". I don稚 have any experience with size tractor and I don稚 want to overload it. I thought perhaps some BX owners/operators would see this post and have some suggestions.

Thanks for the tip on the PHD - I certainly don稚 want one that won稚 clear the ground.

I recommend the 4' Woods box blade. Tough as nails. Adjustable scarifer teeth. With this box blade, you will have no need for a rear blade. Landscape rakes are nice though. This is how the Woods 4' looks on a BX.

Rankin PHD 301 with 9" auger. Good all-around size, and very durable.

The Kubota tillers are light-duty. My dealer recommends Machio (4' wide or less)

Not sure what you are planning on doing with the grapple, but I could not imagine a BX having enough capacity to lift the graple with much in it? I've seen guys post that the b21 struggled with some heavier grapple buckets.

May want to reconsider that one.

Small tractor for a graple. I think a graple would take north of half your capacity just to lift it's self?

As you will note in the pictures I have a tiller back hoe loader and front blade.
Having the tiller back hoe loader and front blade eliminates the need for
a Box Scraper, Blade Scraper &Tooth-bar..
