Help.....
Wife was mowing then parked our BX23s in shed. Turned key off.....now won't fire or even pop...?? What may be the expected hourly life span of glow plugs?
I'm going nuts!!
Have good fuel flow up to a new injector pump cause I thought original at 3400 hours went bad. Injectors were new last summer. Voltage on glow is plug supply strap is about 5v...(?)...battery is fully charged. Engine won't fire...

Likely the glow plug relay or the relays connections.

Ok, where are they located? Has been an incredible machine, always reliable.
Then it just didn't respod@ so weird! Really feel it is something simple hopefully....
One other thought;;;; upon opening the hood, the large rubber hose from air cleaner to the (?) Intake air manifold was partly OFF of the head air intake..... sucking non-filtered air into it..... not sure how long this way, as tractor had a total end to end dealer service of all filters and fluids, everything about two months earlier. Used maybe 2-3 times after service.... appreciate any help.

Does the voltage at the glow plug strap go way down when the key is turned over to enable glow plugs? It should. Your description sounds like you tried to start it 5 min after she parked it. (??) It should have started easily then without glow plugs.

This time of the year it should start without glow plugs. Is there a chance you sucked in a lot of dusty air with the intake hose off? That is obviously hard on the internals of an engine.
