Kubota BX2200 newbie query

I recently bought a used Kubota BX2200 that is coming up on 800 hours.

I need to change a leaking hydraulic hose and while I'm at it, I'm gonna change the transmission oil and filter.

I'm new to tractors and would sure appreciate input on a couple questions I have;

1:What are the best places to buy replacement hydraulic hoses?
The nearest tractor store is a 3 hr run for me, so would like to order on-line

2: Do you Kubota folks always buy the Kubota Super UDT oil and the Kubota transmission oil filter or do you have a substitute that works great for you?

I have my hydraulic hoses made to length at a local hydraulic shop. Some auto parts stores offer the service as well. I have an HST transmission so I stick with the Kubota SUDT2 fluid and use their filters as well. If you prefer having stuff shipped to your house try Messick's website.

I would stick with the Kubota filter and UDT on a hydrostatic tractor. The most hassle free hose replacement option is to buy from your dealer or either Messick or Coleman online. Local places should be able to make hoses per sample. I've used Discount Hydraulic Hose and Hose And Fittings.com online with good results. I can buy through a local business for Gates hoses as the cheapest of the above options but they are not made locally so have to wait for them. If you're going to have hoses made online you will have to be able to identify the hose size, ends, and orientation if there are elbow fittings involved. I think your BX will all be JIC fittings of either -4 or -6 size.

Bought mine in 2003, my dealer said any good oil was good; didn't even stock SUDT back then. I get hoses made locally. You need to adjust valves at 800 hours.

I use the new SUDT on my GL.
