Kubota BX 25D
Got my Kubota BX stuck while using the front mounted blower. It happens but usually I can use the truck. Had to use a come-along because of where it was. Got me thinking as I'm watching the wheels roll not so easily. Is there a way to disengage the gear? Nothing in the manual. Is it okay to just rip it out with a truck? My point is where is neutral?

"Range selector" What is that? The BX doesn't have that

Sure it does! Left side beside the seat. The lever with the turtle and rabbit.

My BX24 has the PTO selection on the left... low range / neutral / high range are on the right hand side...

Likewise with my BX-25. Half way between Turtle and Rabbit (with brake off) neutral will be found. It rolls much easier that way...

D'oh! Yes, the right side! Guess I was more tired than I thought.

I don't have a BX but have been stuck with other 4wd tractor with snow blower.
Just wondering what your BX's orientation was when you got stuck ?
Did you happen to be snow blowing down a slope, then tried to back up the slope ?

If you are getting stuck in the snow often while clearing the snow, this tells you that you need to work on your traction issues. Time to start tweaking little things until its the right setup for you.
Do you need more rear weight? tires filled or bolt on weights or both? can you carry an implement for extra weight and leverage the tractor back to lean on the back tires more? Do you need chains? Maybe change the type of tires you have? or maybe the tires are over inflated?
