All kidding aside, thanks for the info deereman. I was wrong to think that higher zinc content meant better oil.

I've just been using plain old Kubota 10w30 in my L3400.. I stopped overthinking things a few years ago. With 350 hours on the clock, it doesn't seem to use any oil between changes.

Local farm supply has the Mobil Delvac on sale a couple times per year, I just make sure to buy on sale and stay ahead of my needs.. I need to put in a filter order to Messicks now though (seems their website might have been unavailable yesterday for awhile?).
