Kubota BH 90 and top\'n\'tilt

I am looking hard at buying an L3830, 723 FEL and BH90. The manual states that the BH90 will not work with top and tilt. I'm guessing the hydraulic cylinders will hit the backhoe subframe. I want to buy the remotes now and add t&t later. The manual states it will not work, but they're talking about the kubota factory kit. Has anyone made their own t&t to work with the BH90, and if so, what did you use.
Thanks
Leroy

Re: Kubota BH 90 and top\'n\'tilt

Leroy, I have a L5030. I have the FEL LA853, BH90, Kubota remotes with T&T and all work fine. My owners manual covers the models L3130 thru L5030. What page says that it does not work? You do know you would not be using the BH90 and T&T at the same time. I do have to take off the top hydraulic cylinder, of the T&T, to put on the BH90. Hope this helps. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Kubota BH 90 and top\'n\'tilt

Thanks for the reply TXDon, I don't have the owners manual yet (or tractor either for that matter). If you look in the dealers MSRP book for the BH90, it has three small numbers in circles for footnotes. The footnotes say 1. Not compatible with Grand L cab series, 2. Not compatible with top&tilt kit and 3. L3130 and 3430 require the LA723 and not the 513. I will try to attach a link so you can see for yourself.

That's why I love this forum, because I went looking for information and since you were kind enough to provide real world experiences, now I have peace of mind about having the remotes added to the tractor.
thanks again
Leroy

Re: Kubota BH 90 and top\'n\'tilt

This is common for a manufacturer not to want to sell a certain option with a certain other option, because they know that if they do, there will be some conflict in the installation process that will have some customer up in arms about nothing. I remember when I ordered a car once, there were certain options that you couldn't get with other options. I did a little research and found that I could purchase the options as dealer installed accessories. I ordered those that had to be factory installed and then added the others as "dealer installed options" and had what the factory literature said that was not possible.

Leroy, You can get the TnT and the BH90. Whenever you attach the hoe, you have to remove the your top link and lower links. Takes about 10 min. Kind of a pain, but you will like the BH90. It performs well.
