Tractor
Kubota B9200
IMG_2097.jpg

I recently purchased this tractor with a very nice trailer. However, once I got home, I found out that this tractor just doesn't fit me. I need a tractor around my home, but the primary reason I wanted one is to bush-hog and plow on my hunting lease. So I am looking to sell this tractor and get a bigger one. This tractor is in excellent condition. It has been kept inside the previous owners house (yes, I said inside his house). I got a good deal on the tractor and trailer, but the problem is I don't know what the tractor is worth. I would appreciate it if someone could give me a good estimate of its value.

If you haven't, go to tractorhouse.com and fastline.com and search B9200. Maybe this will give you a rough idea. Usually the prices there will be on the high side.

Is it 4wd or 2wd? Hydrostatic or gear?
If it's 4wd I would think you could plow snow with a rear blade. Regardless, you could use a 4 ft brush hog.

But we want what we want. Nothing wrong with upgrading.

It is 4wd and hydrostatic. My biggest problems with the tractor is it has turf tires and the belly mower hangs on the trailer when loading/unloading unless I can find a good "hump" to put the ramps on. If I dont get another tractor, I need to change the tires and remove the belly mower (I dont need the mower anyway). I think its in my best interest to just get a bigger tractor. Thanks for the reply's.

Thanks McREBEL, I will check out tractorhouse.com and fastline.com

Nice looking tractor. Let me know what you decide on for a price, I've been thinking of getting a grass mowing tractor.

My first question would be "does it have power steering?" because if not, you will get an arm workout. I know- I had a B8200 for 11 or 12 years. I was lucky in that I was able to find an old Kubota PS kit for it.

I grew up with a B8200 that my parents own and you're right about the arm workout. It's a great tractor that is about 30 years old with almost 5000 hours and still going strong. Some day we will restore that old tractor, but right now dad uses it too much to be without it.

I have a B7100. Do you have any idea where to get a PS kit for it?

I found mine when a Kubota dealer was cleaning out his warehouse, and after I posted about its installation, lots of Kubota owners expressed interest in finding one, but, alas, no more were out there. This was maybe 12-13 years ago?

Sorry for the delay getting back here. First off, it does not have power steering. I've played around on it a little and although I can tell it, its really not too bad to me. It might be a little different if I had to be on it for a couple of hours. We did take the loader off and it handled even better. The previous owner kept the loader off of it. He had probably come to the same conclusion. As far as the price....I still dont know a fair price. I found one like mine but w/o the loader for $6500. And I found one more just like mine except it looked alot rougher for $9000. I just need more information because I want the price to be fair to both parties. I never asked the guy about the price for just the tractor. I also bought his tandem wheel trailer to haul the tractor. So it was a one price deal

I had a B9200 several years ago before trading it in on a BX2200. It was a good tractor but moving to power steering on the BX was great. Mine had worn down R1 (ag) tires and a 60" deck, no loader. I gave $6500 for it when I bought it and that was around 10 years ago.

FWIW, I sold my B8200, with power steering, good turf tires, aux. LED lighting, quality tire chains, 600 or so hours, fully serviced, and a 4' HD Deere rear scraper blade (and a Bush Hog front loader with toothbar) for $7500 a couple of years ago. It was very clean. Same tractor, basically, with a smaller engine. The post hole auger was not included.
