kubota B7500
i purchased a used woods rm 59 on e.bay to go with my b 7500. i just tried to hook up the pto shaft and it seems that the kubota male pto shaft is larger than the woods female part. is this possible or is there something else wrong? its so cold i didnt want to mess with it anymore today.

Joe,

Some of the older and possibly even newer smaller tractors used a smaller PTO shaft. You will just need to change out the end. If you have a local woods dealer they can get you set up.

Do you know what tractor it had been used on?. The reason I ask, there are a few older tractors that used a PTO that spun in the opposite direction. If this is the case you will either have to change the blades or worse case, according to the local Woods dealer, some decks you will need to change the gear box.
