I'll always think of it as a Hobbs, but...
The hour meter on my B7200 has been non-op since I got the tractor years ago.
Has anyone ever seen these units brought back to life?

I looked at it when I had the dash panel apart to fix the switch gear, but didn't get into it then.

Now, I sort of would like to have it....

Anyone BTDT?

It’s likely just a 12 volt elapsed time clock. New one from Kubota runs about $150. Generic ones are available on Amazon for much much less (<$20).

Your B7200 tach and hour meter is cable driven.

If the tach itself still works then the problem is likely an internal gear is worn out (probably nylon or plastic). Unlikely to find that part.

If the tach still works a 12 volt elapsed time (Hobbs) clock could provide a similar function and is much less expensive than the oem replacement part.

Tach (tachometer) time differs from Hobbs Time in that it is linked to engine revolutions per minute(RPM).
