Kubota B7100 Roll Bar

Greetings all,
I just picked up an older model Kubota B7100 (1979 I beleive) and it's a really nice machine. Very well cared for and the paint still shines! My question is this; it does not have the roll bar on the back and I've seen some 7100s that do and some that don't. Was the bar installed on newer models only? I can get one used, but I don't know if it will just bolt on to one of the older models? There are differences between the new/old; I've noticed that the older model uses a four-lug front rim where the newer has six. (I believe) Any help is appreciated and thanks!

I have a 1977 B7100 that has a ROPS (roll bar). I believe that it was not sold new on the tractor but added later on. Kubota had a program to install the ROPS on tractors not origionally equipped with them at a reduced cost. I am not sure if the program is still active. I had mine off 2 years ago when fitting the backhoe to my tractor. If I remember correctly it bolts on with 6 or 8 bolts on the rear of the transmission and the bar that holds the forward end of the lower 3 point hitch arms passes through a hole in the very bottom.
