I have not only the owners manuals but the shop manuals for every piece of equipment I own and if I sell something (just sold a baler on Tractor House), the owners and shop manuals plus any notes I have go with the equipment. That includes maintenance records.

Heck, even the last tractor I bought (used) came with the manuals and it was a 2002. Not only did I get the manuals, I got some extra parts as well.

I believe the OP completely understands he made a mistake. Degrading him does absolutely nothing to help him or teach him anything. Mind boggling.
I agree, everyone makes mistakes, nowhere in the manuals does it say not to remove the bolt. I've never seen a bolt in 50 years on the underside lowest point of a sump, not to be a drain plug. Until now!

I have and had all the manuals before I removed the bolt as it is identical to a drain plug and sometimes things look a little different from a schematic on paper to the real thing upside down.
