Kubota B7100 FEL only works when 3 point raise lever is pulled back

The parts manual that I have are for the B7100HST-D up to ser # 60163 and a manual for B7100hst-d above 60164. They both show a hyd block in the pressure line. They call them the old type and the new type. The manual trans must be different.

Kubota B7100D-P (4wd) HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. See second PDF.

Looking at this model, the delivery pipe #6 is a straight pipe from pump to 3pt.

If you need to add valves, I would just cut the line and use compression fitting to install the valve .

Pipe from pump would go to IN port of new valve.

PB out would connect to the cut pipe going to the 3pt.

Out port would go to a tank port.

You would cut hard lines on the tractor instead of using the hydraulic block specifically designed for adding an external hydraulic device that sits at the end of those lines? :p

I still don't get why that's always your recommendation.

I do believe he said there is only a straight line from the front to the rear.

Show me what you have or have seen to add something in series using those banjo fittings.

The easiest way I know is to cut the hard line and use compression fittings to connect to a valve.

It's been done many times before.

I have not seen anybody add a valve using the banjo fittings. Maybe there is some stuff out there that will do just that.

I have seen low pressure like this for clutch hyd, but not for tractors.

How would you insert a valve in the series flow path if there is only a straight line with no adapters??

The hydraulic blocks have 3/8 NPT pipe threads on them, or Kubota supplies 3/8 NPT adapters. Very easy to connect to the hydraulic block. If a loader is already present, you simply connect it in series between the loader's PB port and the hydraulic block.

I replaced the quick connects on my loader with ISO ag quick connects to simplify things, as they're 1/3rd the cost of the Kubota connectors. When I want to put my post pounder on (which has its own 3-spool valve), I simply disconnect the loader's PB from the hydraulic block, and connect the two lines of my post pounder between it. No cutting necessary :)

Right now, it is not clear how the loader is plumbed into the system, as something is not right if he has to use the 3pt to use the loader.

Some pictures and more description is necessary to help troubleshoot the problem.

Is this a recent problem or has this problem been there from day one?

I totally understand how you use your hydraulics.

I will upload photos ASAP, ishiboo there is no hydraulic block on this tractor and if there is it is not on the steel line.

Ok heres some photos! Tell me what you guys think! The pressure line for the loader is the flexible one coming out of the 3 point valve assembly. The return line is that one going into the dip stick/ trans fill.

Perhaps a call to the previous owner is in order, since it was just bought.

Seems like someone did something similar where they paralleled the 3pt with a tilt wagon cyl.

I am thinking they did the hyd all wrong.

Since the B7100 hydrostatic models all had the adapter plate in the pump in line, it would seem normal to cut into the hyd line and install the loader valve so things would work correctly.
