Kubota B7100 D..older model.. Retrofit a custom built cab, heater and lighting

Looking forward to pics and progress reports. Is your tractor gear or hst? I had a B6200 at one time that is similar to yours I believe but a little smaller than yours.

[B]MY TRACTOR IS READY!!![/B]

I went to see my nearly finished Tractor last Thursday. It was amazingly well done exactly as I specified. New steel/ Glass cab with internal ROPS, new 20-Amp alternator and wiring harness, new control console with 6 switches, Heater with a coolant pump ans variable speed fan, dome light, 3 flood lights, beacon light, remote chute controls, new raised seat. Two removable side doors 8 feet wide, rear window with a gas strut, Power widers front and back, all new fluids, ammeter, temp guage, battery charge booster terminals in the cab, triangle safety sign and a complete paint job and full neoprene/naugahyde cab lining, new tire chains, new battery, new hydraulic hoses, joystick type hydraulic controls, bayonet type fuse box. Better than a factoiry cab but without A/C Total job cost was just 4100!

ZiP drive with photo documentation of the work and process will be available a week aftewr I take delivery This Saturday.
I have a tractor with a 59" wide Meteor snowblower now for a total cost of 11, 100 dollars, ready to go. I think that is a bargain!

I have not seen the kijiji ad, so I do not know. The guy that built my cab is Larry Welton, who owns CENTRAL MECHANICAL in Hoyt NB. I doubt that larry is advertising. I found him because the Kubota dealer referred me to him. Larrys firm is noit a small company, they do all of the repairs to NB Hydro equipment, trucks, engines, booms, hydraulics, etc., It is a major company worth tens of millions of dollars. I can very highly recommend him. He is smart, competent, honest and creative, and a master for fixing all kinds of heavy equipment. He is a very worthy friend...and he is a workaholic. His work on tractor cabs is very slow, because he attends first of all to his NB power jobs. My tractor has been in his shop for six months. Since I am mobility challenged, he has designed my cab to permit me to use it unassisted. I have just seen the finished product last week. His cab design is better than any factory job, and it looks very professional..and it was really very inexpensive. The market value of his cab is about ten thousand dollars. Made from steel with safety glass, with wide doors and entry aides, incorporating a ROPS, and with many modifications to the tractor controls, hydraulics and seating. My total cost was much less than that, about 4100 dollars, He also plowed me out four times while I waited, at no charge. I can honestly say that Larry is a very nice man!

Well my tractor is still in Hoyt. I am disappointed. Larry had to take his Dad to the Dr. today, so he could not do the delivery.Apparently it is not serious, which is a good thing.

Now it is snowing here in Tracyville We are prtomised about 35 mm of snow tonight. That is about nine inches of snow. It has started already and coming down in huge amounts . Also forecast are high winds, followed by rain. Should be quite a mess. Larry said he will deliver it around noon on Sunday, snow or no snow. I really hope he does it this time. I am running out of patience.

I will have good chance to put the rig to the test on Sunday. Or Larry will have to spring for another loader job, and that ain't cheap. Geez, I hate wintertime. How much TV can a guy watch?

If it wasn't for TBN I would simply go totally squirrely

Too bad you didn't get to try it out during a real weather event, darn. Life intrudes, doesn't it.
A question: 35 mm is more like 1-1/2", maybe you meant cm?
