I had this tractor delivered yesterday, and worked it the same day, this morning I checked the water, ok , top it up with fuel, and then I checked
what I think is the gear box oil, just under the seat that has a small dip stick and a plug which you can remove and see one of the gear gogs. It
showed nothing on the dip stick and when I looked in to the filler hole the oil looked a bit milky ! Could someone put me right on what type of
oil gose in here if it is gear oil or hydraulic oil, thanks I have no manual.

I don't believe the fluid should be milky looking. You could loosen one of the hyd hose and see what color fluid comes out.

It might be emulsified fluid, hyd fluid and water. If so, then you need a drain, clean and flush, and refill with correct fluid, especially since you don't know what is in there now.
