kubota B6200 wont move when at operating temp

I am very new to tractor owning but I have ok mechanical back ground. I have got a used kubota B6200 4WD tractor and the old owner tells me when it gets to operating temp. the tractor will stop moving forwards or backward, but it works great when you first start it. If anyone has ever herd of this and has any solutions please help! Thanks

Do you have the gear model or the hydrostatic transmission model? If the HST model I would start with a hydraulic fluid and filter change. Sounds like when the fluid gets hot it is either sucking air or starving for hydro fluid.

I can not say for sure what the letters are or were to find them. Most all the stickers are gone and the name plate just says B6200. Is there a way I could find that info out? I think that might be a big help.

There should be a sticker or plate with the model, and serial number. On my old B8200, it was on the left side of the transmission. That would give you info needed to order parts.

Owners manuals are available, and relatively cheap.

I would start by checking all the fluids. What does the engine oil, coolant, and hydraulic fluid look like? How's the air cleaner look?

Also, as MarkV mentioned, does it have a standard gear transmission, or hydrostatic transmission? If it is hydrostatic, the filter may be clogging. There may also be a strainer in the hydro system getting clogged.

As a general rule, with used cars and tractors, the first thing I do is change all filters and fluids.
