Kubota B6100
Hello, I operate a Kubota B6100 for my Mother on her hillside property. While warming up the engine a couple of days ago, I heard a high pitched wining sound from under my seat where the gear box is. The unit was running fine and did up until I shut it down. I checked the gear oil's dip stick and also under the cap. The fluid was "frothy" in a kind of a light beige color. I don't remember seeing that way before. Does anyone have any suggestions what the issue may be? I plan of changing the fluid on that before operating it again.

Welcome to TBN. Those little tractors seem to run forever. As for the noise and froth, sounds like the fluid may be low and getting air in the line. You probably also want to check the screen that is on the bolt that goes through the banjo fitting under the seat.

BTW, this would be better asked in the Kubota forum. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-owning-operating/

The "white frothy" oil sounds like you have water in your gear box. Drain all the gear oil out, make sure you pull the drain plugs down by each axle to drain the sumps there. I'd pull the oil strainer and clean it while I was at it.
