I could be wrong but if you are now measuring 18 to 19 volts at the battery, I think you may have a fried battery before long. I dont think that would be good for your battery, it shouldn"t be putting out no more than 14.5 volts. I think the regulator may be bad. zman

Hi men reading the postings and what a great information I have a 6100 D and not charging correctly this really gives me some place to look.
not being that good with electrical any chance you can sent me the wiring diagram? I plan on checking it over this summer.

Hey zman007007 I no this is an aler thread but I'm having similar issues and it's not the ground lol...do you still have that wiring diagram??
