Kubota B2650 vs Mahindra Max 26XL ... Which is the better buy?

I think the point Luke was aiming towards is maybe how their tractors are sold/supported in the US market. A good number of Mahindra's small CUT and SCUT models are not made by Mahindra. There is nothing wrong with that (Deere does the same thing) but it's certainly not the same as Kubota, where everything is 100% Kubota engineering and manufacturing. In-house engineering and manufacturing has plusses and minuses, but from the R&D budget/expertise/time standpoint Luke was getting at, it's almost always a plus. Outsourcing something is mainly a plus if you don't have the resources to do it in-house.

Bringing a thread back from the dead-I know.
But I never came across the result of what the op decided to buy.
Asking because I'm in the market myself for a CUT/SCUT. I think the B2601 is a little smalle for me, would hate to make a purchase and regret immediately wishing I had something bigger. It is however closer in size to the Max 26xl which I'm heavily considering. It's a toss up between the b2650 and max 26 for me. But as stated earlier in this thread, the 2601 is smaller and the 2650 is a little bigger; the max is in the middle.
Would just like to see what the op went with.

If I am not mistaken TYM makes tractors for Mahindra in some of their models. They were cheaper than the Mahindra with the same warranty. I am looking at TYM and the LS tractors.
