I think the point Luke was aiming towards is maybe how their tractors are sold/supported in the US market. A good number of Mahindra's small CUT and SCUT models are not made by Mahindra. There is nothing wrong with that (Deere does the same thing) but it's certainly not the same as Kubota, where everything is 100% Kubota engineering and manufacturing. In-house engineering and manufacturing has plusses and minuses, but from the R&D budget/expertise/time standpoint Luke was getting at, it's almost always a plus. Outsourcing something is mainly a plus if you don't have the resources to do it in-house.
