Thanks to this post, I tackled this over the weekend. A couple of things different when I did mine.
First and foremost, I ended up flushing my fuel system, as the wood clamp I grabbed to pinch the fuel line definitely was not strong enough to stop the fuel flow, so I had to run for a jerry can and throw it under and collect all the fuel coming out. So learning point, vice grips or something much stronger than a small wood clamp.
Second, when I loosened off the one filter on the right when sitting on the tractor for the rear end, that's where 80% of my fluid came out from. So, if you plan on only getting a little bit when you loosen the filter off, you may be in for a surprise. Luckily I had a small pail under there and no major spill from that action.
Third, my rear end was a 12mm drain plug bolt on both sides.
Finally, it would have beneficial to have a helper to hold the bucket under the front axle drain plugs as you have to almost cuddle up to the tire with your arms around it holding the bucket for draining the axle. And you have to do it twice. That'll be a job for my kids to hold the bucket on my next service.
But it's done, and good for another 150 hours.
Thanks for the motivation Rock Crawler!!
