Geesh, if you want to spend R&D money, make a utility tractor, with 200hp, and can lift 10,000 lbs. and get 200 hours on a gallon of fuel, and cost $12,000.

Geesh, it's apparent you don't understand R&D. John Deere makes logging / forestry equipment. The walking equipment has been explored by a number of foresty equipment manufacturers as a better way to navigate forested areas without the need for roads or leaving tracks throughout the forest. You don't develop new equipment without trying completely new ideas. I guess you probably don't pay much attention to the automotive concept vehicles either...a lot of what doesn't look practical today often shows up years later in a different form.

I looked and I looked and I looked. I just don't see the Kubota that gets 200 hrs/gal with 200hp engine for only $12k. What is the model is it?
