Kubota is on the hunt for another acquisition.

The full story I read today in another trade news letter believed it would be in Europe or South America . Claas (3 billion dollar company)and Deutz-Fahr were listed as possible targets in Europe as well as a possible South America companiy not named. They are wanting to expand into a full line farm equipment company.

This is getting very interesting.

Very interesting.. Kubota has good market share in Alaska (small market - I realize) but more competition in this area would be a very healthy change for small farmer's (like me)!

I'd love nothing more to see high quality, long-lived hay equipment and ag machinery available that would make the guys at Deere and Co. actually give you a "quote" that was less than MSRP!
