Look around and see if anything that looks like the images in the attached are near were the lines enter the firewall (Evaporator Area).https://www.google.com/#q=picture+of+auto+expansion+valve.

A lot of the late model cars and trucks do not have independent expansion valves, they are built into the receiver drier.

GM and some other manufactures have switched to a Orifice Tube. The Orifice tube is inside the high pressure line where it connects to the evaporator. Orifice Tubes and Expansion valves... auto A/C diagnosis, repair & troubleshooting help. A good description and image is available in the web link.

Auto parts houses sell Orifice Tube Removal tools. A pair of needle nose pliers can also be used. Be careful if you are trying to remove a Orifice Tube. They like to break off easily.

If you go to Kubota parts website click on your tractor model, click on AC,click on schematic (N10500) which is evaporator schematics ex valve is parts key #040. Evaporator is accessed on tractor by raising roof and removing a cover

The AC on my B3350 stopped cooling - almost. It did cool the air measured at the outlet by about 12 degrees.

I had cleaned the condenser, so I didn't think that was the problem. I was wrong. The condenser was mostly blocked with a fine gray "flock" from the field I was mowing. It looked just like the aluminum fins. After cleaning the condenser all returned to normal.

I made two cleaning wands after that experience. One is a long reach blow gun from Harbor Freight. Cut the bent tip off, cut a thin slot with hacksaw near the end of the tube and plug the tube end. Made a second one for the water hose. Have only used the air gun so far, but it works really well.
