i tried to take the underbelly mower off today...oh man.
Started off OK - front lever released the two support arms in front...
pulled a spring loaded pin on each side of the mowind deck that attached it to tractor...
disconnected the PTO shaft from the tractor's underbelly PTO....
so far so good right?
Then tried to roll it out to the side - it won't fit.
i toyed with the idea of backing up till the front wheels rolled over the top of th edeck, but it would have crushed a thin panel on top.
And I realized than that EVEN IF I WAS ABLE TO GET THE MOWER OUT FROM UNDER THE TRACTOR, THERE WAS STILL MOUNTING HARDWARE THAT WOULD LOWER EVERY TIME I LOWED THE 3 PT HITCH!
Can someone give their thoughts here and maybe some perspective? thanks.
