- Kubota MX4800 with BH-90X hoe; Hustler FastTrack 48; B3300SU (sold); 1969 Case 680B CK (sold)
While I own several brands and have used quite a few over the years, my primary tractors are Kubotas; reasons too varied and unique to my situation to really be of relevance to anyone else. I have said for years that if Kubota stays complacent they will be surpassed by other brands not only in value but features and I'm certainly not alone. Paul Short (4shorts) recently put a video that makes a lot of sense. I love my HST+, but other companies are adding features to their comparable models and will match or surpass Kubotas' design. Kubota is already behind as far as price, but some of us are willing to pay a bit more. As that gap widens there will be fewer and fewer. In my area John Deere SCUTs and CUTs have been increasingly replaced by Kubota. JD was once king, but now only in Ag tractors.
My brother had to go out of state to find a good price and dealership for his Kioti, if Kioti had a better dealer network in my area, no doubt I would be seeing more, I know of only two.
LS is in the same situation here as is Massey Ferguson; there are no longer any Mahindra dealers.
The good news is that the competition has resulted in the development of some really nice machine with which we can all be happy.
Very well said. Thank you.
