kubota 5700

Hi

I am interested in buying kubota 5700 and I like me who you gave your opinion me on this tractor

We have an M5700 at work. The guys that use it seem to like it. It is still pretty new with only about 700-800 hours on it. We have had to put a seal kit in one hydraulic cylinder on the FEL.... but that is the only repair to date.

I've been happy with mine. It's about five years old with 700 hours. I've never tried to measure the fuel consumption, because I don't use it that much. For constant high-rpm and high-load work, like bush hogging, I'll take a guess at about 1.5 gal/hr. For low-rpm work, it's substantially lower.

I just mowed down my field of waist high hay with a bush hog that took me 18hrs. of actual time and I used 18 gal. of fuel with my 5700.I only have a little over a 100 hrs. on mine but no issues so far , tractor runs fine.I don't run the tractor at quite full rpm pto speed but at 1 gal. per hr. that's not bad.I only have a 6ft. bush hog and run it in 4th gear low range as some of my field is a little bumpy.I keep the blades sharp so the hay cuts very easily and could easily go at a faster pace if it wasn't for the bouncing around.I no longer use the hay so I just let it lay.The 5700 seems to be a fine tractor.

I have a 10 year old M5400 (basically same tractor). Don't have many hours on it especially for it's age but have never had a problem.

I have a 4900 and it has been great. The 5700 is virtually the same machine. Zero complaints.
