I went to www.kubotausa.com..and built this tractor ,less box blade and was suprised it came to $34,000.00.............so your price may not be too bad.You can always offer a little less but if it looks ok and has some service records it may not be a bad deal.

That's a great tractor, and at least one dealer was pushing me toward it instead of the one I bought. My tractor spends more time mowing than anything else, adn for that I wanted a floating deck, the xx20 series has floating decks, but the xx30 series have ground contact decks. May not be a big deal to you, though...just though I'd mention it. Would you be able to mow with it before purchase, kind of a test run?

At first I thought the price was way high...... then I went back and reread that it has a backhoe. Decent price, and I'd say 800 hrs on a 6 yr old tractor is nothing to complain about. The 3030 is dead reliable ......... feel free to do some reading up on them here before you buy. If the tractor is in good condition, I say buy !

Last summer I bought a new B3030 with FEL with 60" bucket, BH with thumb and 16" bucket, and pallet forks for 25,984.00 before tax.

I believe the MMM is around $2600 new so I think the asking price is reasonable but like others said, offer a low and meet in the middle.

You are going to love the B3030, very refined machine. The BH and the FEL hydraulic controls allow feathering for smooth movement and exact placement.

There is a big difference in size as you probably know. The BX is going to be a better mower. The B will be a much better machine for heavy work such as digging. If you have a lot of tight mowing, low branches, go with the BX. If you have more open areas, the B will be great for mowing.

800 hours? If the machine was well maintained, it would be like buying a car with 25,000 to 50,000 miles on it. It would have lots of good life left in it.

I have a 2006 B3030 and have mowed a lot with it. I found that in 2wd it will tear up some grass when changing direction quickly, so I always mow in 4wd. I love the tractor - probably the best buy I ever made.

I have been mowing with a B3030 with a 60" deck now for 4 seasons and I love it. I mow about 120,000 SF about every 5 days. I have loaded rear tires and a very wet lawn. It was very wet here in the early spring and the tractor did leave indentations in a few areas. Not to worry though, they went away without issue.

I like the ground contact deck over the deck I had on my BX23. My BX floating deck always scalped on the down hill side of my cross slopes, the ground contact deck does not. The cut looks just as good as my neighbor's ZT Scag.

I find it to be plenty nimble around the house and around obstacles mowing. I love it and wouldn't change a thing.

There was a comment about using 4wd while mowing. With my BX I had to use 4wd 100% of the time becuase of grade of my yard, however, with the 3030 and loaded rears I only use 4wd when it is very wet and I don't want to tear up the lawn going up or down hill, but 9 times out of 10 I use 2wd and have perfect traction.

Hello , Dave I purchased a B3030 , FEL , 60" MMM , in june 2010 . Went for $21,500 at my local dealer . It is the second kubota I have owned in 25 years . The 3030 is a real workhorse smooth to operate controls are easy , three piont hitch , position control is much better than the quarter inching on other models . I had some issues tearing up my yard while mowing . The 60" mower has a nice cut just take it easy on the turns . You will like the tractor I am certain . PDC
