Howdy,

Sorry to make another thread on Price checks or recommendations.

I couldn't find a thread with a clear picture of what folks were paying for new 2920's with FEL, MMM and BH in the Northeast.

Trying to get a idea of what I should expect before I head to any local dealers.

Or if anyone has any recommendations on who to go to in the Upstate NY region please let me know. Or if their are dealers that are cheaper, including shipping charges please feel free to throw some info my way. I'm fine with driving a few hundred miles myself.

Thanks in advance for any info. Hope everyone is enjoying the 80 degrees in the northeast !!

I'll give them both a call. Thanks. How were the prices they gave you?

Barlows was $300 cheaper than my local dealer (including taxes and delivery). Emerich was the same price but they inlcude filling the rear tires and they throw in a block heater. I ended up going through my local dealer because A. they were less than a mile from my home and B. they threw in the 50 hr. service.

26100 and 25600. So far from two places I've checked.

Are these OTD prices with tax, fees, etc? If they're offering between 12-15% of MSRP, you've got a good deal.

Nope, that was before everything.

Region has a big impact, but when I was pricing prior to buying my tractor in the NE the best deals off of new were around 10% off MSRP (I didn't price a MMM though). In my case I opted to by a barely used one for additional savings. I did find NY seemed to have slightly better prices than MA, NH or VT and that if you went down south the prices were significantly better, but quickly got eaten up by shipping costs and the general 'hassle' of having to buy long distance. Since it's new I'd try a couple of dealers and then go from there and you should end up with a reasonable price for your area.
