3-Point Hitch Kubota 2650 Problems and Woes

Another thing you can do is adjust and then remove the top link, (the telescoping rod that broke your window), BAD top link:thumbdown:
Unless you're going to regularly hook up to an implement several fields away from the barn, there is no real need to carry it around all the time. One less thing to have to deal with as you get used to the basic operating of the machine.

If you are moving material in the loader, remember "low and slow",keep the loader as low as possible based on terrain.

I went from a B2620 to a B2650. First time with 3 pt attachment on it, raised it up to full height and bent top link severly. I have to leave the roll-over bar down to get in garage. Top link hit on lowered bar and bent it. My B2620 would not raise near as high. Mine also has a jerk sometimes when backing up (very annoying), almost like it shifted to a lower gear. Cruise control will not hook into the fastest setting. When have go pedal to floor and try to engage cruise, it drops back to a slower speed. I looked at it and the lip that catches in the cogs is not lined up to fit in top notch. No adjustment that I can find for it. Only got 7 hours on it now. Certainly not the quality my B2620 was, but still a keeper. HJT

If the worse thing that ever happens to you on your tractor is a broken window and a cut off clean out, thats not bad. Its a learning process as you are learning. I also like your writing style and find it entertaining.

Post up a couple more pics of your tractor, wish mine had a cab come winter time.

I have about 90 hrs. on my B2650 with very good success , but I am an old tractor guy . The 2650 does ride like an old buck board for sure compared to my larger M5700 . The tire size makes all the difference in the world on rough ground , along with a much better seat on the 5700 . All in all like the other comment the 2650 is a keeper . As you lower the speed the ride becomes more tolerable on those rough spots . Hang in there as it will all become second nature to you in time . WELCOME TO THE FORUM

You might check tire pressure. Mine was delivered with 30 psi in the rears that state max is 14. Darn near flipped it on a pot hole driving down the road going for fuel. I'm running with 12 psi. Better ride, better traction. I have turf tires on my 3350.

Getting close to something like a home or dog:
That is when you use the HST for fine adjustments in moving up to something. Letting off the Hst is just like using the brakes. But, far more sensitive. When I try to use the brakes and HST at the same time, I will inadvertently have pressure on the HST pedal.
Also, on the top link. There is another hole that is lower than the one your are using. That will also limit the upward movement of the 3ph.:2cents:

Definitely check the tire pressure. Mine were just like he said. Way too much.
BTW, tell the left brain that he doesn't win the dufus award because there wasn't any blood involved in said accident!

Exactly. And depending on the load even slower and lower can be the way to go. I recently bought a 275 gallon tote to haul water which is about 2800 lbs including the tote itself and forks. Raised up when full would be one thing, but raised up and transported when "only" 200 gallons of water are in it and it is sloshing side to side would be a recipe for a tip over. Stability, weight, balance and lower height of the load are key.

I lowered the air pressure on mine also, it did make a difference but not enough for me . I would like to get a better seat if there is one for b2650 .
