I just removed the front axle on the kubota, the front collar on the axle where the steering differential or differential is connected was broken, it came off connected to the differential not the axle housing.
I now have to remove the collar from the differential case so I can have the collar welded back (I know it's not the proper way but in my money circumstance it's probably the only way).
Is there just an inner expansion clip that holds the the differential to the collar on the front axle? Can I just put the collar in a jig and the push on the
pinion gear to seperate? Any help would be appreciated.
