Hi there:
I'm completely new to tractors. We've just purchased a country home - will move in Oct . We have 16 acres of pasture. The current owner has horses. I'm guessing that helps him in keeping the pasture from overgrowing.
We'd like to keep that land open. I will also probably want a 3 to 4 acre field that I will mow on a regular basis. Thats about all I plan to do.
From doing lookups in classifieds online from local dealers I see a 1990 Kubota 1550 hst that is within my price range - about 9k cdn. It has a 60" mid mower, 4wd, 1250 hours and turf tires.
If you are familiar with this model I'd appreciate your opinion on whether it might suffice for the amount of land I have. I have no idea how much HP this model has or how many cylinders - the listing does not say.
