Hello Folks, Great site here. ran across this site trying to Price a used attachment. Would like to do a bigger garden this year.

I'm looking to buy a used KT09-65 that's two years old.
What would be a fair price and would it be to much for
8n?

Pray tell, what is a KT09-65? tiller, box blade, mower?

I think it's a Kioti/Sicma tiller. I don't think an 8N will go slow enough to make good use of it.

That would be a tiller. KiotiDave (UpperValley) has them on his web-site.

I agree. I think an 8n will be geared to fast to effectively use a tiller.

Thanks to all that chimed in, glad I check in with folks in the know.
I offered the guy $1200.00 for it. Said he would think on it.

But if the 8n isn't geared low enough to for the tiller to be affective,
then a deal my not be a deal.

Others here will know far more but, some of the old Fords had auxillary transmissions, Shermans etc...
I think the prevailing wisdom was that even those were not well suited for tiller work. A disk, especially a used one, will be much cheaper and will help you in the garden with the 8N.
