Komatsu D20A track adjusters

I am trying to get my track adjusters to work with no luck. I have books, manuals (none worth a sh..) and someone in the business, but we are stumped as to how to proceed. Anyone out there with a background in Komatsu "recoil spring" track adjusters for this small dozer? Thanks, Brad

try out heavyequipmentforums.com I just purchased a D20 about six months ago and have picked up alot of good info from this site there are two very knowledgeable people on the you should look for (darinray) and (ktbaugh) these are there screen names hope this helps

There is a little cover (door) near the end of the sheet metal mud guard. Inside you will see a grease fitting and pressure release fitting for the hydraulic tensioner. I'm assuming you have already got this far, so what exactly is the problem? Tensioner won't extend or retract? Are they frozen? Springs broken? Yoke cocked?
