According to my local store, Napa is now carrying the entire Kohler parts line. They say they are genuine Kohler parts, not knock offs.
The guy at the counter said you do not need the Kohler part number, only the engine model and serial number. He said he had a complete set of books covering all Kohlers and pointed to a shiny new stack of Napa reference guides.
He also said overnight for common parts, and three to four days for something esoteric.
I stumbled over this when I was looking at filters on the Napa web site, so I checked with the store. I haven't actually bought any Kohler parts there yet, but I thought the info was worth passing on.
