Kohler Generator use oil

Sometimes if the owner switches to synthetic oil too soon the rings never seat properly and you will get the oil consumption you are experiencing.
What oil are you using?

The manufacturer recommends full synthetic multi-weight.

Our 14KW Kohler has 49 hours in one year and hasn't used any.

I am trying to find which filter I need. The engine is a 725cc air-cooled twin. The OEM filter has a number 79-32822-1455 on it but that doesn't seem to match a part #.
