Kohler 155 install on kubota l2900

Short version. I've got a l2900 and found a cheap koyker 155 that supposedly came off a l2900 includes all mounting hardware and valve. Will yall look at the pics and confirm that you see everything needed to mount this on my l2900? I don't know much about how they mount so I'm not sure what to look for. Thanks in advance.

Do they have a website that you can get a customer service number or email address? They should be able to tell you if it is the correct mounting kit. My 5240 has a support bar that goes from the loader mount back to the rear axle, I'm not sure if it's needed in your tractor but I didn't see them in the pictures. The piece I'm talking about is the flat piece you can see running under the operators platform. I also have a backhoe so this piece is a little taller than models with a loader subframe only, guessing 6" tall versus 4".

I would take some measurements of the bolt patterns and see if they match up to what's on your tractor.

The first item I don't see is some type of rear axle support that runs to the upright supports that are in the FEL bucket in your pictures.

I do know that some of the smaller Koyker loaders were not supplied with these re enforcement tubes like my Koyker has as seen here

Also there should be a forward support that mounts to the front of the tractor that the loader frame slides into.

If you look at my tractors pictures- the U frame that mounts in the front of the tractor does not seem to be in the pictures you posted.
You Have to have that part to support the front of the loader frame.

Hopefully that mount(s) is in there somewhere.

The Koyker loaders are very good quality imo.

Once you get it mounted up i think you will be very happy with it.:thumbsup:

That's what I was trying to describe also, the factory Kubota loader doesn't have a forward support but from your pictures it appears the original poster might be missing some key pieces.

Yes, the koyker the OP posted is designed like the one i have in that there must be: either two front side mounts for the loader frame to slide into, Or a single U frame like my K2.

Without looking (very closely) at the front end of the Kubota in question it is difficult to give a definitive answer, except that the Koyker 155 Must have a front support.
