I have been trying to get this beast running. It has the Tecumseh engine. I put new points, cleaned the carb fresh gas and this thing will not start. It has great spark and is getting gas. The engine has great compression. I can not find any specific details on where to start the adjustments on the carb. Any help would be great!

Sort of a late reply, but it sounds like you have checked everything. I bought a carburetor and put new points in mine to get it running. You may want to pull the flywheel off and check the gap between the Magnetic pick and the two metal blocks on the inside of the flywheel. You may be able to make this check without removing the flywheel. Gap should be about 3 to 5 mm.
