CK08-0100-P Seal Kit, head(No 6~11) $46.83
CK08-0200-P Seal Kit, Piston(No 13~17) $59.10

Yes...I bought both kits. You need 2 seal kits for each bucket cylinder. Yes.....you can buy the seals individual if you want.

Wow, makes Deere parts look like a bargain. Almost.

I would purchase the seals by size from Hercules. These are simple round seals, not special ones like you have in
the hydraulic pump.

Are you needing lift seals or curl seals.

What are the symptoms that make you think it needs rebuilding?

Its not just the seals only. It also includes new metal heads with the seals already installed on the heads. Now I can just order the seals only and have a rebuilt kit already to use next time.

I saw your pix in the other thread, and you do have at least one damaged seal. What
are the metal heads you are referring to? Do you mean the cylinder cap or gland?

I am guessing, based on his other thread and prices.....that the seals come installed on a new Piston. And all you have to do is install the new Piston on the rod.

Personally, for $20 worth of seals in a cylinder....I won't spend extra for a new Piston and to have someone else install the seals on it.

Regarding the OP of this thread......we need more detail. Why do you think you have to rebuild your lift cylinders? What problems are you having? Trust me.....many cylinders have be needlessly rebuilt over the years because people don't understand basic hydraulics. Don't want you to be in that same camp

The seals only for each cylinder are $56. You are correct....I could have changed out just the seals only and saved some money but elected to put new piston heads on as well. I didn't have the special tool for installing the seals on the inside of each.

Note that you do not need that special tool to install the inside seal in the cylinder cap. It is sort of a 3-fingered
pair of pliers. I use 3 steel rods to bend that seal into a heart shape before inserting it into the cap hole. I
would buy those pliers only if I did this often.

LD1 is right: $20 or less for all the seals for most cylinders, from a supplier like Hercules Hyd.

I was looking at just buying the seals. However, I'm confused because to just replace the seals it looks like it should be #13, 14, 15, 17, but if you total those it's far more expensive than the entire seal kit. Mostly due to "CK08-2110: Retainer, 35/45/6: $25.70". That part just looks like a seal, but it's $25 a pop and you need 4! Anyone know what that is or what is needed to just replace the seals?
