He all,

It appears that I may have some worn loader/bucket bushings. I've got quite a bit of play between the bucket bushings. When lifting on the bucket, I can move appro. 1-1.5" upwards. Anyone have any advise? I don't recall this much movement and I've owned the tractor since new (now has 500 + hrs.). Maybe I just never really paid that much attention, but I don't think so. May be time for bushing replacement?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Greg

Anyone?

I don't know if 1" to 1.5" is within tolerance or not...
I might be helpful if you could post a video with that shows the amount of play...
It may be a problem or could be normal wear...
I assume that you have been greasing those bushings regularly???

Thanks for the reply.

If you grab the bucket by the top and pull or push, I get approx. .5-1" travel between the bucket bushings and the cylinder bushings.

Trust me, I've gone through cases of grease and keep everything clean as that makes it so much easier when I grease everything.

It just seems that there's much more play than before. I think maybe a ride to local Kioti dealer to take a look at a new one.

I don't have an answer for you but I thought a related question might get an answer. I have a new Kioti DK40se with an FEL. The disconnect pins at the housing that connects seem to turn with the raising and lowering of the loader. Not really sure how it happens. Now the neat little chain that connects around to the cinch pins is wrapped taut and actually pulled one apart. The chains don't seem anything more than cosmetic. Is this pin supposed to be greased? If so, how there is no grease fitting on it? Thanks guys.

Dont know about the DK40 but my K120 bucket also moves up and down about an inch with the engine off and the bucket resting on the floor.

Where are you measuring or estimating the 1" movement? If at the cutting edge of the bucket I wouldn't make much of it. If that movement is actually at the bushing itself then that is very worn. There really should be almost no movement at the pin/bushing but movement at the bucket edge is probably nothing to be concerned about IMO.

Well when you raise the lift, apparently your pin fits very tight in the bushing that is in the lift arm and looser in the frame mounted stanchion. so the pin turns. I went ahead and sprayed a little lube on mine.. Not that it was going to break the chain or anything like that. I bet you might have a heck of a time getting the pin out to remove the loader. I would lube it a bit, and try to raise and lower and see if I could free up that pin a bit. I just used some FluidFilm.. my favorite lube for everything (well almost everything:)) The pin should not be that tight I would think.

i've been greasing my loader arm pins since new and they do rotate a bit every now and then. When I cut my field for an extended time I like to remove the whole loader arm assembly rather than just disconnectng the bucket - tractor seems to go faster that way.

My bucket moves at least an inch when off and bucket on ground
