Anyone have experience with this mower? My lawn tractor is eating me alive, and I need a finish mower for my new L3240. I think I can get this unit for less than 900, it has been at a dealer for about 4 years (new but old). I am not in a position to spend a lot, and this deal sounds reasonable. Any thoughts?

That is a good mower, however, i would take the cover off and make sure the belt is not dry rotten and check to see if the unit has the air tires, or the solid tires. King Kutter makes it standard now that the units have the solid tires, but that change has not been 4 years ago.

If it has been setting that long, I would also check the wheel spindles,fork bar, pto shield and the input and output gearbox seals. Ken Sweet
