Looks nice. I think you water catch basin is alittle bigger than mine /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif You`ve got the sea I`m only on a lake.

Lots of beautiful pictures! Looks like a great place to live. I'm curious about one thing though. On the Texas coast, the prevailing winds are from the south and southeast, blowing in from the ocean, so anything metal rusts real bad. Do you have that problem there?

And that new tractor, in the Other Brands forum, looks like quite a machine, too.

we get winds from northwest (very hot and dry)northeast (strong) and south and southeast (cold cold very cold wind)if looking at a map of NZ and finding about where i live ya see the only land south of us is the south pole and cold sea air ...now rust is a prob but it's not to bad here i think cos of the cliffs (200foot)a lot of sea spray hits them but steel posts(look like a Y when viewed from the top)will rust of at ground level in 4-7 years .i don't think it is just the sea air doing that tho as bank penninsula was a island many moons ago till it exploaded the lava joint the main island and the crater formed akaroa harbour ,so i think being volcanic soil and sea air where they meet the rusting is higher ..ps here is a pic of the harbour from just below our mailbox
