Kioti vs Taskmaster ?

K, its great to see you made it to this forum. I met with and talked at length with the service manager of the dealership where I bought the LK3054 and I feel a great deal more confident in their operation. Appreciate your comments. Regards

FYI - I have three chinese made machine tools. No parts problems. I think we are past that one with China. Metals are an issue however. The wearing parts seem to be fine. Beds, ways, bearings & such. The non critical but really annoying when they break ones are still poor. Handles, some bolts, belts. Some of the accesories are total trash. I have two vices that are about useless. One cost $150.00. But...........it really depends on the plant. I buy mostly from Grizzly as they claimed to have more control on who makes the machines. I believe it after dealing with them. They also stock parts. I just talked to a Jin Ma dealer near me who is part of a dealer group and they have a warehouse and a virtual warehouse between their little network of dealers. That made me feel A LOT better. Nice people too.

But I gotta say the price so far is too close to a JD 790 for me to walk away from the JD option. But the horse trading hasn't started yet either so we'll see whose bottom line is really what.

slowrev, I just bought a LK3054 Kioti w/30 hp for $11,000. Got a heavy duty Kioti FEL, Kioti sunshade, Howse mower and Howse boxblade for $14,850 delivered. So far I'm pleased with the tractor. Good luck.
